RBC has hired 2 Managing Directors for their Global Research Group based in New York:
Daniel Tenengauzer will be Head of Emerging Markets & Global FX Strategy. Daniel was previously a Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank.
Ross MacMillan will be Co-Head of Software Sector. Ross was previously an Equity Research Analyst with Jefferies.
Former Managing Director with Jefferies, Sean Sullivan, joins BMO as a Managing Director and Co-Head of its U.S. Industrials Business. Sean will be based in Chicago and New York.
In a rare move, Neil McCann leaves his Portfolio Manager seat in Infrastructure at AIMCo to rejoin the sell side at Goldman Sachs, Calgary, as a Vice President, Investment Banking.
Kevin McDowell also leaves AIMCo as a Senior Principal having run all the funds on the Private Equity side, to join Alberta Teacher’s Retirement Fund, Edmonton, as a Senior Principal.
Avi Dalfen joined Octagon as a Managing Director, Investment Banking, Clean Technology and Diversified Industries. Avi was previously an Equity Research Analyst at Macquarie before moving to Investment Banking.
Benjamin Gaspar, previously with BAML in Montreal, where he was a Director, Investment Banking has joined Brookfield Financial in Toronto as a Partner.
CIBC welcomes Tuc Tuncay as a Director, Investment Banking, Power and Utilities in Calgary. Tuc was previously an Associate Analyst, Equity Research, Energy Infrastructure at Scotia Capital in Toronto.
Mike Brydson will be pivoting from banking to join Salesforce.com to work in Channel Strategy and Alliances. Mike was previously a Director, Commercial Banking Strategy with Scotiabank.
