BMO Capital markets have announced the following hires in Canada, U.S and the UK:
• Sumant Inamdar has joined the Structured Organization group as Vice-President. Sumant moves from Moody’s Canada where he was previously Vice- President, Senior Analyst in the Structured Finance group.
• Darcy MacDougall moves from the Business Development Bank of Canada where he was an Associate, to join the Securitization Group as an Associate.
• In the U.S, Alexander Ayer, Noam Cohen, Les Gorman, Paul Griffin, Tom Goss and David Parrot have joined as Managing Directors.
• In London, Sean Landers becomes a Director of UK based accounts.
• Tyler Kyle joins as Vice-President in New York and will be covering accounts in the region.
Macquarie Group is adding Mohan Nair from Canaccord Financial as an Institutional Salesman focusing on U.S hedge-fund accounts.
RBC Dominion Securities and RBC Capital Markets have added to their teams in Canada, U.S and London:
• In Toronto, Jeff Kowal, Jonathan Shields, Steve Harrop and Ivan Ghandour have moved from Scotiabank to join the Futures and Commodities Team at RBC Dominion Securities.
• Mark Friesen joins the Calgary team as a Research Analyst from Versant Partners. Mark will be covering Emerging Oil Sands and Mid Cap E&P companies.
• John Brady, Marc Berman, Jay Broaddus, Grant Tolson and Marc Layne join RBC in the U.S. John becomes Co-Head of U.S Real Estate; Marc is the Head of Insurance and Grant is hired as a Director in the Insurance Group. Jay joins as Managing Director for the Consumer Group and Marc becomes Director for the Technology Business.
• In London, the Global Financial Institutions Group has added four new hires. Martin Dunn, Chris Rogers and Nicole Humphries have all joined as Managing Directors. Laurence Sherlock becomes Director in the Correspondent Banking Group.
Adam Ferguson has joined Bridgeport Asset Management as an Investment Analyst. Adam was previously at OMERS Private Equity as an Analyst.
Raymond James has brought on Jacob Leibel as Vice-President and Head of the Private Investment Management Group. Jacob moves from RBC Dominion Securities.
Scott Chan joins Canaccord Genuity as a Diversified Financial Analyst. Scott was most recently an Analyst at M Partners.
