Cost of Latency Period

If you are unemployed or if you decide to leave your job, what is the cost of that latency period before finding a new job? We see many people who are disenfranchised with their current environment and just leave their job. They are then unemployed for months, maybe a year, maybe even longer. If you’re unemployed for three months, a quarter of the year, this is $25,000 for somebody who’s in a $100,000 position.
