It’s great that you’re unique and you want to distinguish yourself, however, you have to think very carefully about the industry that you’re in and ask yourself what level of customization within your resume is appropriate for the industry in which you are working.

Anything that deviates from a single page, white, heavier stalk, black print resume is definitely going to catch somebody’s interest, but if you are too far from standard, then you might be mocked for your uniqueness. It is a reality in the finance industry, but not so much in other industries where you might be afforded more creative, artistic space.
