Networking Effectively
June 12, 2020
We’ve received some requests for additional insight regarding how to network effectively. Happy to share a few thoughts.
- To begin, networking must be genuine. If you’re passionate about what you do, networking will come easily and naturally.
- Secondly, networking must also be consistent. Networks are active evolving entities. They require constant attention requiring regular contact. That’s worth repeating: be in touch on a regular basis.
- Lastly, these networks must start small and grow over time. No one can expect to drop into a network of 250 people through email, website or blog and achieve success. If you’re looking for an effective network tomorrow, expect disappointment. You must start small, genuine and close to the heart. From there, build outwards and watch your network expand into a solid web of incredible connections
