Description

The ideal candidate is a highly versatile investment professional who is inquisitive, resourceful, and pro-active in the analysis and execution of a range of investment strategies within a variety of public markets, spanning macro market exposure, derivatives, equities, money market instruments, and external managers. We are looking for a professional with multi-asset class portfolio experience and strong analytical acumen. Specifically, the selected candidate will:

 

  • Contribute to and assist in the execution of the public markets investment strategy;
  • Implement the investment strategy primarily through a macro investing approach using various investment vehicles and structures as appropriate to achieve optimal risk-adjusted returns;
  • Develop tools, databases and valuation models to identify investment opportunities in a multi-asset class investment universe;
  • Ensure models are kept up to date in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Execute trades, ensure proper settlement and contribute to improving operational processes;
  • Contribute to performance analysis, risk management and reporting;
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the investment process;
  • Be versatile in diverse investment strategies, geographies, sectors and asset classes;
  • Conduct pre- and post-trade reporting and analytics.

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in public markets investment financial analysis;
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • Enrollment in/or successful completion of the CFA program is a plus ;
  • Fundamental research and analysis experience, strong financial modeling skills;
  • A broad range of public market experience spanning derivatives, ETFs, and equities;
  • Experience with Bloomberg and risk management software;
  • Experience executing transactions with counterparties;
  • Quantitative aptitude, as evidenced by academic achievement and/or work experience;
  • Knowledge of macroeconomics and its influence on investments;
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze financial statements;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a team environment;
  • Hard-working, energetic and able to self-direct in an entrepreneurial environment.
